這場比賽的心得~「輪車訓練」, 如阿富常說的:雖沒有機會上台,至少要感受一下領騎的感覺..不過這算是我第一次比賽輪車經驗,所以步調有點混亂,沒有依照當時攻擊的結果做好恢復調息.所以每次攻擊出去,集團就又慢慢的接上,自知爬坡腳力還是差高手一大截,所以當大集團轉進大坪國小段是1小時18分,後面爬坡我用了25分,而勇腳們此時火力全開,大約用了22分鐘就爬完此段.雖成績上不了台面,不過本次的經驗應該是我參加車賽以來學習最多,最有比賽感的一次(難怪阿富一直要我趕快迷途知返回來體驗公路車賽).

TORO-BIKE鮪魚肚車隊 壯大參賽,這次是第一次與TOROBIKE出賽,跟一群熱血的車友一起騎車讓比賽過程更有趣了.

落到分組第14名 北海岸大比賽不像太平山賽一樣  要上台真的不簡單 佩服!(Lily也上台了一起接受膜拜啦!)

TEAM SPINNING 祕笈大放送~集團的基本知識~老雷歡迎大家協助轉貼 

「集團」(peloton)的形成,是由一群「實力相當」的騎士,為節省體力及更快到達目的地而成形。關於「集團」有很多研究,但總地來說…若時速達到每小時30公里,在集團裡的騎士就能省下大約30%的體力。

而為了讓「集團」的功效更彰,集團裡每個人都該知道跟集團的相關規則。集團中的「每一個人」或在集團內每一隊裡的其中一個人必須「輪流」到最前面擋風。重點是…「輪流」!是的,有時集團裡的騎士體力並不同,只能「跟」而不能在前頭擋風;但這些試著跟上「較強」集團的騎士,在最後大概都會落後。

若你是競賽新手,這裡有些你該知道的訣竅、知識、或規則:

一、平地時,跟緊你前面的人,但爬坡時別跟太緊。爬坡時前面的騎士可能會速度驟減或是換錯盤。

二、要一直填補空缺。若你前方的騎士無法緊跟上他前面的人、填補空缺,有可能他已經累了,這時你或他人就該填補上去。

三、可能的話,跟緊你前面騎士的輪子。不要和前人並排,不然一改變方向、或任何突然的動作,都可能讓你們的輪子碰撞、摔車。

四、待在集團中央可以給你更多庇護,但若有撞車,你也容易被卡住。

五、跟車時,永遠記得觀察前一至兩個騎士。保持警覺、預判路況。別看地上、或只看你前面的輪子。

六、若你跟對集團,記得要輪流扮演好你的角色;若你認為跟錯集團而跟不上,可以慢下來等下一個集團過來。待錯集團越久,你的體力耗越快,撞牆的機率越高。

七、輪車時,不要暴衝!除非你是要在集團裡脫困或是要攻擊,不然暴衝會造成你的團隊節奏亂掉、或造成沒有填補的空缺。重點是,其他人也有可能暴衝,而這樣就失去了集團的意義。在前面帶的時候保持穩定。

八、贏得集團的信任:用雙手控車、不要緊急煞車、在集團裡騎乘穩定。不要驚慌、也不要有突如其來的無預期舉動。若你要有「動作」,到集團後面,結束後再回集團。

九、若你決定到前面幫忙另外一位騎士一起為集團擋風,盡量不要其在他旁邊或超越他一點點。有時候,他(她)會誤解,以為他的節奏帶的太慢因此加快,然後你就跟著一起加快,最後,後面的集團就受罪。

十、(對新手來說)沒有什麼比待在集團裡還好的了。雖然得全神貫注,但你也需要「放鬆」。愈放鬆,愈能專心並享受「分工合作」的好處。有路障要讓後面的人知道、有緊急狀況也要警告後面的人。

A PELOTON IS FORMED WHEN A BUNCH OF "SIMILAR STRENGTH" RIDERS RIDE TOGETHER IN ORDER TO SAVE ENERGY AND ACHIEVE FASTER FINISH TIME. THERE ARE MANY RESEARCHES ON THIS TOPIC BUT ON AVERAGE....... IF EVERYONE IS RIDING ABOVE 30KM/H, YOU CAN SAVE AS MUCH AS 30% ENERGY WHEN TUCKED IN THE PELOTON.

NOW.... THE THING IS.... FOR THE PELOTON TO WORK EFFICIENTLY, EVERYONE IN THE BUNCH HAS TO KNOW THE RULES ABOUT RIDING IN THE PACK. EVERYONE OR A RIDER FROM EACH TEAM NEED TO "TAKE TURNS" IN THE FRONT BLOCKING THE WIND, THE KEY POINT HERE IS...... TAKE TURNS!!! YES, SOMETIMES THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE PELOTON THAT IS NOT THE SAME STRENGTH SO THE ONLY THING THEY CAN DO IS TO FOLLOW INSTEAD OF TAKING TURNS IN THE FRONT BUT THESE PEOPLE WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE DROPPED NEAR THE END WHEN THEY'VE DRAINED THEIR ENERGY FROM TRYING TO FOLLOW A STRONGER BUNCH.

HERE ARE SOME MORE TIPS, KNOWLEDGE OR RULES THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW IF YOU ARE NEW TO RACING:

1) STAY CLOSE TO THE RIDER IN FRONT OF YOU ON FLATS BUT NOT SO CLOSE ON CLIMBS. A RIDER IN FRONT CAN SLOW DRAMATICALLY OR MIS-SHIFTS DURING CLIMBS.

2) ALWAYS CLOSE ANY GAPS. IF THE RIDER IN FRONT OF YOU IS NOT CLOSING THE GAP, IT COULD MEAN THAT HE IS TIRED SO YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE NEED TO CLOSE THAT GAP.

3) STAY BEHIND THE WHEEL OF THE RIDER IN FRONT OF YOU AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. AVOID OVERLAPPING HIS WHEEL, A SLIGHT CHANGE IN DIRECTION OR ANY SUDDEN MOVEMENTS CAN CAUSE YOU GUYS TO TOUCH WHEELS AND FALL.

4) MIDDLE OF THE PELOTON GIVES YOU MORE SHELTER BUT YOU MIGHT BE STUCK IF THERE ARE ANY CRASHES.

5) WHEN FOLLOWING, ALWAYS LOOK TO ONE OR TWO RIDERS AHEAD, BE ALERT & ANTICIPATE. DON'T LOOK DOWN OR JUST STARE AT THE WHEEL IN FRONT YOU.

6) IF YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT GROUP, REMEMBER TO DO YOUR PART IN THE FRONT. IF YOU THINK YOU ARE IN THE WRONG GROUP AND CAN'T FOLLOW, YOU CAN ALWAYS SLOW DOWN AND WAIT FOR THE NEXT GROUP TO COME PASS. THE LONGER YOU STAY IN THE WRONG GROUP, THE QUICKER YOUR ENERGY IS DRAINED.

7) WHEN YOU ARE TAKING YOUR TURN, DON'T SURGE!!! UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF SOME PEOPLE IN THE PELOTON OR UNLESS YOU ARE ATTACKING, YOU WILL UPSET THE TEMPO OF YOUR GROUP AND CREATE GAPS. THE THING IS..... SOMEONE ELSE WILL DO THE SAME AND THEN YOU MISS THE WHOLE POINT ABOUT RIDING TOGETHER. KEEP A STEADY PACE WHEN YOU ARE IN THE FRONT.

8) EARN YOUR TRUST OF THE PELOTON, RIDE WITH 2 HANDS, BRAKE SLOWLY AND BE PREDICTABLE IN THE GROUP. DON'T PANIC AND AVOID ANY SUDDEN OR UNCONTROLLED MOVEMENTS, IF YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING, DROP TO THE BACK AND RETURN WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED.

9) IF YOU DECIDE TO SHARE THE LOAD IN THE FRONT, DON'T RIDE HALF-A-WHEEL IN FRONT OF THE OTHER PERSON. SOMETIMES, HE OR SHE SPEEDS UP AND THEN YOU SPEED UP AND THE PELOTON SUFFERS.

10) THERE IS NOTHING BETTER IN CYCLING (FOR BEGINNERS ANYWAY) THAN RIDING IN THE PELOTON. ALTHOUGH YOU NEED TO BE ALERT BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO BE RELAXED. THE MORE RELAXED YOU ARE , THE MORE YOU CAN FOCUS AND ENJOY WORKING TOGETHER AS A GROUP. POINT OUT ANY HAZARDS FOR THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK TO BE AWARE OF OR WARN THEM OF ANY EMERGENCIES.
